The SICAM exhibition in Italy is one of the most important exhibitions in the world of  fittings, design and technology. Hardoor’s involvement in the leading market in the world and in the leading country in the world, is no small feat, says Hardoor’s CEO. “We arrived knowing that the Italian market is not easy, it’s a market that already knows all there is to know, sliding mechanisms are nothing new in Italy and neither are sliding wardrobes, so when we saw so much interest and positive feedback, we were very surprised.” says Hardoor’s CEO.

Certainly, Hardoor has much to be happy about. The unique, innovative, patent-registered sliding mechanisms have brought them to a good place in the Italian and International market. These mechanisms brought them good news from the world of international design, like the GLIDOR X mechanism which is for the hovering door, carrying a weight of up to 100 kg with high, accurate stability level and the GLIDOR N mechanism, which combines the wheel system within its wardrobe profile. However, Hardoor’s most stunning contribution to the world of wardrobes is the SESAME mechanism which, in addition to its stability and strength that we already know about, it is also the only mechanism which aligns the doors level with each other and allows them to slide in both directions.

The most interesting and impressive presentation at the exhibition was the SESAME, with an integral television in the front, something that the world had previously not seen and the response was exciting. We saw many built-in televisions but televisions on single level doors surprised even the Italians.

Hardoor is not sitting on its laurels. In a few months time, Hardoor will be exhibiting at another exhibition in Germany as part of the international market.
